Built in 1925, it was designed by architect Shirley Simons and/or W. P. Berry in Moderne style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The City of Lufkin purchased the theater in 2007. The City has undertaken extensive restoration efforts on the theater from 2009 to 2012."

I am first and foremost an artist. Always have been. I drew cartoon characters as a child, designed logos as a teenager, and studied interior design as an adult. I have since turned my sights to photography. Through my lens, everything has a story to tell. I strive to capture an image that awakens a memory. A memory, that becomes a story. Stories that, otherwise, might not be told. I tend to shoot what is often unseen by others. Sharing this unique vision, is what drives my work. There is balance, beauty and thoughtful design to be found in every nook and cranny of our world.
